Group Travel
The minimum number of passengers in a group is 10.
In order for the possibility of a booking to be considered and the cost of group travel to be calculated, the Customer must send a written application to the Airline to the e-mail address support@acss.kz
Advance booking for a group of 10 or more passengers travelling for the same purpose on the same route is made once the Airline has confirmed the application.
A group booking that has not been agreed with the Airline may be cancelled without notice. Any request for a change to the application must be submitted exclusively in writing directly by the Customer.
The Airline sets specific deadlines and payment terms for group travel. Payment must be made by the organisation arranging the group travel within the established deadlines.
At the request of passengers who have a common purpose of travel, confirmed by documents, and who are travelling together on the same route to the same destination on the same aircraft, the Airline is obliged to apply a group free baggage allowance to these passengers (the sum of the free baggage allowances of each passenger).
Excess Baggage
On our domestic flights, you can easily adapt the baggage allowance to your requirements.
Chargeable (excess) and oversized baggage.
Excess baggage is the part of the baggage weight that exceeds the free baggage allowance established by the Airline or that is subject to mandatory payment regardless of the specified allowance.
Oversized baggage is baggage where the sum of the three dimensions of a single piece exceeds 158 cm and/or the weight exceeds 20 kg.
The passenger must inform the Airline or its Agent in advance of the expected weight and number of pieces of baggage in excess of the established allowance, and booking of such baggage is mandatory.
The passenger must pay for the carriage of baggage in excess of the maximum free baggage allowance established by the Airline at the established fare in effect on the date of issue of the excess baggage receipt for all carriage to the destination or stopover point (or transfer point). Excess baggage is charged per whole kilogram.
Rounding is carried out according to the following rules:
-Up to 500 g is rounded down to the nearest whole kilogram;
-500 g and above is rounded up to the nearest whole kilogram.
Discounts (CH, IN, SD …) do not apply to the baggage fare. Carriage of excess baggage on credit is not permitted.
If a passenger presents more baggage for carriage than was previously agreed with the Airline and paid for, such baggage may be accepted for carriage only if there is available capacity on the aircraft and the passenger pays for it.
The Airline has the right to restrict or refuse the carriage of a passenger's baggage whose weight exceeds the free baggage allowance established by the Airline if such carriage was not agreed with the Airline in advance.
At a stopover or transfer point, the passenger has the right to reduce or, with the consent of the Airline, increase the weight and number of pieces of baggage carried.
If the passenger increases the weight and/or number of pieces of baggage carried while en route, the passenger must pay for the carriage of baggage whose weight or dimensions exceed the free baggage allowance of the previously paid carriage.
When booking a seat on an aircraft or purchasing a passenger Ticket, the passenger must inform the Airline or its Agent of the carriage of oversized baggage. In the absence of an advance booking, the Airline has the right to refuse the carriage of such baggage.
Oversized baggage is accepted for carriage provided that the dimensions of the loading hatches and the baggage and cargo compartments of the aircraft allow it to be loaded onto (unloaded from) the aircraft and stowed on board the aircraft. Such baggage must have carrying handles and fittings for securing it while it is being moved to the aircraft, from the aircraft and on board the aircraft. At check-in, oversized baggage is tagged with a “HEAVY” label indicating its weight.
If excess and/or oversized baggage needs to be carried on aircraft operated by several Airlines, the Airline issuing the carriage documents for this baggage must obtain the consent of those Airlines to such carriage.
Travelling with Children
Let the adventure be a pleasant one
Travelling on board an aircraft is most often an exciting adventure for children. If children are well prepared for it, parents too can feel confident and at ease. Special rules apply to children travelling without an accompanying adult.
Ticket and seat for a child
Infants under 2 years of age
A ticket for an infant must be issued in advance, after the airline has confirmed the request for the infant's carriage. If there is no ticket at the time of check-in, Southern Sky Airline reserves the right to refuse carriage of the infant. During the flight, the child must sit on an adult's lap and be secured with a special belt. Newborns under 7 days of age are not permitted to fly.
Children aged 2 to 14 years
Your child travels in a separate seat at a special child fare, which applies on all flights (plus the Southern Sky airline service fee). When a ticket is issued online, the service fee is generally lower.
